You know when it's the middle of January, -27° outside with some profane windchill, you just got home from work and the car STILL hasn't warmed up inside. The days have gotten short so the sun has set, but there is just enough light left  as you are about to pull into the garage that you can see the dauntingly thick layer of white fluffy horror on your driveway. This has accumulated over the past day and night, creating a wall of dread. All you can think of is the hot dinner you are about to devour, and the nice warm hug from your kid as you get in the door. However, you now have to decide "do I drive over this and have to spend an extra hour in the morning scraping the tire tracks off" or "do I get out now, already freezing in my work clothes, and get it cleaned off just enough to get the car in". Spoiler, this is Calgary, and these times are just around the corner.
